GOLF RULE OF THE MONTH Suppose, after you lift and clean and replace your ball, which is lying on a slope on the green, the ball rolls about five feet closer to the hole. Do you replace the ball or play it from where it stopped rolling? If the ball remained at rest for a few seconds, you play it from where it ended after rolling closer to the hole. Neither gravity nor wind, the forces that might have moved the ball in this situation, are considered outside agencies, so the ball is not replaced. If the ball did not start moving until after you addressed it, you are considered to have caused it to move, and penalized one stroke and must replace the ball. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ SIGN-UP FORM May 14 , 1994 - Two Man Low Net Entry Deadline - FIRST 60 BEFORE - April 30, 1994 $21.00 Sign-up Fee for Greens Fees, Reservation Fees and Prize Fund Print Name: _________________________________ Phone No. _____________ Membership No. _________ Preferred Partner _____________________________ Check One: Walk ______ (No pull carts are allowed) Ride ______ No Preference Please return this form along with a check for $21.00 to Pine Ridge Golf Course, Dulaney Valley Road, Lutherville, MD 21093, ATTN: Golf Club.
